FourFront recognizes the importance of giving back to the community in which we live and work. This month, we volunteered our time at Cradles to Crayons, a great Charity that provides children living in low- income and homeless situations with the essential items they need to thrive at home, at school and at play.
Quality = Dignity
At Cradles to Crayons, quality equals dignity, so the team helped to sort through donated clothes to ensure that the kids receive clothes in good condition that they’d be comfortable in. All donated clothes are either donated, sold at a local thrift store, Impact Thrift, or cleaned and used as rags to clean toys, so there every bit donated goes to good use. We also pack shipments and did general warehouse tasks all in an effort to get clothes out to children, ages 0-12 in the Philadelphia area that need them.
This great organization has locations in Philadelphia, Boston and Chicago with volunteer opportunities for kids as young as 6. They even host birthday parties for a fun time while helping out other kids in need.
